The Fred® pear is a relatively new variety known for its excellent flavour and good shelf life. It has juicy, sweet flesh with a hint of acidity, giving it a pleasant freshness. The skin is usually yellow-green, sometimes with a light blush. The pear was carefully tested and refined for over 18 years, resulting in a beautifully coloured fruit.

Growing Method
Fred® pears are grown in orchards using sustainable farming methods. This means the cultivation process takes the environment and biodiversity into account. Natural pest control is used, for example, and water and soil are managed with care. That way, we can enjoy delicious pears grown in a responsible way.
